Here’s how the design process works:

1. Start with a short questionnaire 

 

The questionnaire will allow you to tell me about your garden and what you hope to achieve.

2. Receive a quote

​

I’ll review your responses and provide a quote for the planting design.

 

3. On-site consultation

If you’d like to go ahead, I’ll visit your garden to:

​

• take measurements

• assess your site (eg how much sun the area gets, how windy the area is)

• assess the soil (the soil structure and pH)

 

This will help me determine what plants will grow best in your garden. We will talk about your plant preferences, dislikes, and any specific needs. We will discuss any existing plants you own that you would like incorporate into the design.

4. Design 

 

I will then create

• A custom planting plan

• A video visualisation of your garden planted up

• A plant list

• An aerial layout

• A year-round maintenance guide

 

We'll then have a follow up call to see if you would like to make any changes or if you have any more questions.

5. Optional - Assistance with planting

Many clients wish to do the planting themselves, at a time that suits them. But if you would like assistance with planting, I can do that too.
